Accessibility Statement

We want every visitor, including people with sensory impairments and neurodiverse conditions, to be able to use this website with confidence. This statement explains the standard we work to, the measures already in place and how to tell us when something is not working for you.

Our commitment

Built for the people we support

Ultimate Complex Care Ltd is a CQC regulated specialist complex care provider supporting people across North Somerset, Weston-super-Mare and the Devon ICB area. Many of the people who visit this website live with sensory impairments, learning disabilities, autism or other neurodiverse conditions, or are family members and professionals acting alongside them. Accessibility is therefore not an afterthought for us. It is part of how we design everything we publish.
We are working to make this website conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 to level AA. This is the standard we hold ourselves to across every page, and we review new content against it before it is published.
If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, we would genuinely like to know. Your feedback helps us fix problems quickly and shapes how we build future pages.
Measures we take

How we make this site easier to use

The following measures are built into the design and templates of this website.
Known limitations

Where we still have work to do

A formal accessibility audit of this website has not yet been completed. Until that audit is finished, the items below are the limitations we are already aware of.
Feedback and contact

Tell us what is not working

If you find a problem, need information in a different format or want to suggest an improvement, please contact us. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

Contact details

What to include

Tell us the web address of the page, what you were trying to do and what went wrong. If you use assistive technology, letting us know which software and browser you use helps us reproduce the problem. We can provide information in alternative formats, including large print and easy read versions, on request.
Enforcement

If you are not happy with our response

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements in Great Britain under the Equality Act 2010, and publishes guidance on what service providers must do to make their websites accessible.
If you contact us about accessibility and are not happy with how we respond, you can raise the matter with the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which is the first point of contact for equality and human rights issues. The EASS helpline can advise you on your rights and the options open to you.
Technical specification

How this website is built

The accessibility of this website relies on HTML and CSS working correctly with your web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins you use. The site is built on WordPress using the Elementor page builder, and we test our templates in current versions of the major browsers.
Statement review

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared for Ultimate Complex Care Ltd and was last reviewed in July 2026. It will be reviewed again once the formal accessibility audit is complete, and at least once every twelve months after that.
