Cookies explained
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember certain information, either for the length of a single visit (a session cookie) or across repeat visits (a persistent cookie).
Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy we use the word cookies to describe all of these technologies.
Cookies set directly by this website are known as first-party cookies. Cookies set by other organisations through our pages, for example by an embedded map, are known as third-party cookies.
