Who it is for

Who Can Benefit from Home Care

Home Care suits adults aged 18 and over who need extra help at home, whatever the reason.

What we provide

What Home Care Can Include

Support is agreed at assessment and set out in your care plan.

Personal Care

Discreet help with washing, dressing, grooming and continence needs, at the times of day that suit you.

Medication, Meals and Nutrition

Support with medicines as set out in your care plan, and help to plan, prepare and enjoy the meals you like.

Household Support

Practical help with laundry, tidying and light domestic tasks so your home stays clean, safe and comfortable.

Shopping, Appointments and Community Access

Help with shopping and prescriptions, and support to get out to appointments, work, faith and social activities.

Companionship and Welfare Visits

Time for conversation, hobbies and company, and shorter check-in visits to see that someone is safe and well.

Respite, Overnight and Family Support

Planned or short-notice cover so a family carer can take a break, and waking or sleeping night support where agreed.

Flexibility

Support That Changes with You

Your needs today may not be your needs in six months. Hours can rise after a hospital stay and reduce again as independence returns, without starting over with a new provider.

Care plans are reviewed at agreed intervals and after any change, with you and the people who matter to you involved in the conversation.

How care is overseen

What Sits Behind Every Visit

Care at home happens without an audience, so it matters how it is planned, recorded and checked.

Home care questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Home Care

Who is Home Care for?

Adults aged 18 and over who need extra help at home. That includes people with disabilities or long-term conditions, people recovering after illness or hospital, and people who would benefit from companionship or respite for a family carer.

How often can visits happen?

Visit patterns are agreed at assessment and set out in your care plan. They can range from a short weekly welfare visit to several visits each day, including overnight support where this is agreed.

Will I have the same care team?

We aim to introduce a regular group of Support Workers and Senior Care Workers who learn your routines and preferences. Continuity is planned around rotas, leave and any changes to your support.

Can support increase or reduce as things change?

Yes. Care plans are reviewed at agreed intervals and after any change, so hours and tasks can be adjusted without changing provider.

Do you support medication and healthcare tasks?

We support medicines as set out in your care plan and the prescriber’s instructions. Where a delegated healthcare task forms part of an agreed care plan, trained and competency-assessed colleagues work within defined protocols, with Registered Nurse leadership and clinical oversight where applicable.

How do I arrange Home Care?
