Our people
Our leadership combines operational management, Registered Nurse expertise, care coordination and governance. In a care service the structure matters, because it decides who is accountable when something changes.
Ultimate Complex Care is led by a small team rather than a management layer. The roles below are accountable for different parts of the service, and between them they cover regulatory responsibility, clinical oversight, day-to-day operations and quality.
Accountability
Each role carries named responsibility. Photographs will be added once supplied.
Registered with the Care Quality Commission and personally accountable for the regulated activity. Responsible for how the service is run day to day, for notifications to CQC, and for making sure practice matches what the care plans say.
Responsible for the direction of the organisation, for the resources the service needs to run safely, and for approving the policies that govern it. Directors are accountable for safe staffing rather than removed from it.
Holds operational delivery: rotas, continuity of staff, and the reviews that keep a package matched to someone’s actual needs rather than the needs they had at referral. Usually the point of contact when arrangements need to change.
Registered Nurse leadership provides clinical oversight of each delegated healthcare task, agrees how it is recorded, supervises the staff carrying it out and reviews it at agreed intervals.
Owns audit, incident learning, complaints and the evidence behind the service. Where something has gone wrong, this role establishes what happened and what changes.
The link between the office and the front line. Coordinators know the packages in detail, carry out spot checks and competency observations, and are frequently the first to notice that someone’s needs have shifted.
